FALL FESTIVAL OUTREACH
Mark your calendar—Saturday, October 1, from 11am-3pm— for our biggest outreach event of the year! Our Fall Festival at Bowen Grove (Como Park on Bowen Road between Broadway and William) is a great way to spend ministering to the community and getting to know others from the Vine as you work side-by-side. If you would like to volunteer to help with this event, sign up will be on September 18 & 25 during the ministry fair.

FALL FESTIVAL CANDY DONATIONS
We give out LOADS OF candy at our fall festival and the kids LOVE it! Would you please bring candy donations and place them in the bin marked “Fall Festival Candy” at the sanctuary door near the refreshment table.
FUSION CLASSES
Wednesday, October 5 & 12, 7pm, Ministry Center Conference Room. During this time we will share the story and vision of the Vine Wesleyan Church, how to live a life of holiness, how to share your faith in meaningful ways and how to become a member of the Vine Wesleyan Church. Please see the insert in your bulletin on Sunday for more information and, if you would like to attend, please circle FUSION on your connection card on Sunday morning.
WORSHIP ARTS ORIENTATION
Saturday, October 15, 6:30pm to 8pm, the Vine Worship Arts Ministry will kick off the new season with a time of fellowship and enrichment. Have you wondered what the worship arts ministry was about? This is your opportunity to find out. We are anticipating all current ministry members to participate in this annual orientation to review our mission and any new updated guidelines. Come join us as we worship and grow as a team. We will have refreshments and a simple dessert for you as we share the evening together. Please help us to prepare by circling WA ORIENTATION on your connection card on Sunday to confirm your attendance.
MEN’S BREAKFAST
Saturday, October 15, 8am in Baldwin Hall. Come and enjoy a wonderful breakfast and fellowship with other men of the Vine. Please sign-up at the Welcome Center or circle MEN’S BRKFST on your connection card on Sunday.
UNDERSTANDING ADDICTION AND RECOVERY
Saturday, October 22, 9am – 1pm in Baldwin Hall. Vine Embrace Ministries presents a seminar to understand the evil grasp of addiction and how to experience the hope and healing of recovery. Presenters are Gwendolyn Bork and Corey Nieman of In His Name Outreach Counseling Services. Write RECOVERY on the back of your connection card on Sunday morning or call the church office to register for this free seminar.
CELEBRATION SUNDAY
Sunday, October, 23, 9&11am, we will be celebrating the great milestones of the Christian faith. We have a few ways in which you may want to participate. If you would like us to follow up with you regarding child dedication, circle DEDICATION on your connection card on Sunday. If you have interest in being baptized or would like to learn more about baptism, circle BAPTISM on your connection card on Sunday and plan on attending our baptism class on October 19 at 7pm in the Ministry Center.

LOST AND FOUND
Have you been looking for something lately? Chances are it could be in our lost and found. We have several items ranging from clothing to cookware to jewelry to a set of keys. Please check out the lost and found bin at the Welcome Center.
ST PAULY CLOTHING SHED
St. Pauly is an organization that collects used clothing and then distributes the Clothing, through other organizations, to needy people in this country and throughout the world. They accept all clothing, shoes, belts, purses, blankets, sheets, pillowcases, drapes and stuffed animals. Our church also receives money from clothes in our shed. Your donations are greatly appreciated.
MEAL MINISTRY
If you or someone you know is ill, has had surgery or a baby, please contact Juanita Harry at 668-2220 so that meals can be coordinated to help during these times.
TRI-COMMUNITY FOOD PANTRY
Please bring any non-perishable items, including food, paper products, diapers, shampoo or toiletries to the receptacle marked Tri-Community Food Pantry located in the hall outside of the sanctuary on the elevator side. The pantry, is located on Terrace Blvd., east of Penora. Many who come to this pantry live within walking distance of our church. Thank you for your weekly support.
