ENCOUNTER will be held every Tuesday from 7-8pm in the sanctuary. Bring your Bible and a notebook for this time of prayer and worship.
THE VINE DANCE TEAM-Spring & Easter Dance
Beginning Monday, January 22 from 7-8pm in Baldwin Hall. All ages welcome. This team meets on Mondays and you will be required to attend The Vine’s Easter services. Pink ballet shoes and pink short sleeve leotard required. Strong dance background not needed. See or contact Adrienne (901-4597) or Becky (901-3251) with any questions. GUY’S NIGHT OUT
Wednesday, January 24 at 6:30pm, Baldwin Hall. Men, come join us for a fantastic evening with chili, soup, fellowship, a short message on how you can be all God wants you to be in 2018 and a cornhole tournament! If you would like to take part in helping with the food or by bringing soup or chili, please see or contact Steve Priola at 870-0903 or Bob Emser. Also, we would like to get an idea of how many will be playing in the tournament. If you would like to participate, please let Steve or Bob know. You can enter as a team or you will be paired up, if you would like. If you have a corn hole set that we can use, let us know as we will need multiple sets. GROWING DEEP: LOVING OTHERS WELL
Beginning Wednesday, January 31 at 6:30pm in Baldwin Hall. Part of the Vine’s Discipleship Path, this powerful 8-week course will equip you with practical tools to really love people in difficult situations and mature into an adult follower of Jesus. FUSION CLASSES
Wednesday, February 8 & 15, 7-9pm, Ministry Center Conference Room. During this time we will share the story and vision of the Vine Wesleyan Church, how to live a life of holiness, how to share your faith in meaningful ways and how to become a member of the Vine Wesleyan Church. VALENTINE’S DINNER
Saturday, February 10, 5:30 pm, Baldwin Hall. Enjoy a date night with your sweetheart. Evening includes fully catered dinner, games and prizes and great fellowship with other couples. $40/couple (Make checks payable to The Vine). Purchase your tickets at the Welcome Center or contact the Vine office. Limited to the first 40 paid couples.
BAPTISM CLASS
Wednesday, February 15, 6pm, in the Ministry Center. If you would like to learn more about baptism or are interested in being baptized at our next Celebration Sunday—March 4, please circle BAPTISM on your connection card on Sunday morning and plan on attending this meeting.
CELEBRATION SUNDAY
Sunday, March 4, 9&11am, we will be celebrating the great milestones of the Christian faith. We have a few ways in which you may want to participate. SIGHT & SOUND THEATER-JESUS
Tuesday, April 3-Friday, April 6. Travel with The Eastern Hills Wesleyan Church’s Young at Heart Group (55+) to Gettysburg & Lancaster, PA, through Maestro Tours. The itinerary includes stops at Hershey Museum, Gettysburg National Military Park & Museum and the Sight & Sound Theater where you will experience, Jesus, the musical stage adventure about the most famous person ever to walk the earth and the everyday people whose lives he changed forever. MORNING PRAYER
The first Thursday of each month from 10-11am, please join Pastor Tammy in the Prayer Room as we pray for our church and region.
ST PAULY CLOTHING SHED
St. Pauly is an organization that collects used clothing and then distributes the Clothing, through other organizations, to needy people in this country and throughout the world. They accept all clothing, shoes, belts, purses, blankets, sheets, pillowcases, drapes and stuffed animals. Our church also receives money from clothes in our shed. Your donations are greatly appreciated.
MEAL MINISTRY
If you or someone you know is ill, has had surgery or a baby, please contact Juanita Harry at 668-2220 so that meals can be coordinated to help during these times.
TRI-COMMUNITY FOOD PANTRY
Please bring any non-perishable items, including food, paper products, diapers, shampoo or toiletries to the receptacle marked Tri-Community Food Pantry located in the hall outside of the sanctuary on the elevator side. The pantry, is located on Terrace Blvd., east of Penora. Many who come to this pantry live within walking distance of our church. Thank you for your weekly support.
