Prayer @ The Vine

  • Intercessory Prayer – Tuesdays, 6-7 pm in the prayer room. Join with others as we meet to pray through the needs of our church body together. See Linda Bauer for more information.
  • Sunday AM Prayer – From 9-9:45 on the 1st and 3rd Sundays of the month, join Pastor Tammy and others in the prayer room as we pray through the seven churches in Revelation.

“Lord Teach us to Pray”

If you could ask the first disciples, “What was the Savior’s secret to living in alignment with the Father’s will and with power to face life’s challenges?” they would have answered with one word, “Prayer!” From the beginning to the end of Jesus’ ministry, his disciples had a front-row seat to watch the greatest prayer who ever prayed. This study of the Lord’s Prayer gets right down to the heart of life and faith. It looks at our deepest passion and longing…to know and experience God. Just like his followers asked him to teach them to pray two thousand years ago, we can make the same request today. Join Pastor Tammy for part 2 of our class on Monday, February 27th, 7-9pm in the prayer room.

 

Deeper Bible Study – Starting Sunday March 4

For students in grades 9-12 we have a brand new opportunity for you. We are having a Bible Study happening in the Youth Room for you to come together and learn about God’s Word. It will be from 9:15-10AM every Sunday. Bring a friend and a Bible and plan to attend. If you do not have a Bible stop by our Welcome Center or see one of our Youth leaders: Alyssa Sterling, Jason and Rebecca Hallnan.

 

Volunteer Appreciation Sunday and Church Dinner March 11, 2012 (following morning worship)

What would the Vine be like without volunteers? Imagine no greeters, ushers, refreshments, coffee, no help at the Welcome Center, no growth groups, no youth group, children running wild in Baldwin Hall. We are nothing if not for our volunteers. This is why on Sunday March 11th we are honoring you. We are going to have some words of appreciation on Sunday morning and then share a meal together after church.
