At The Vine, we believe that life is a team sport – best done together! So, we want to encourage you to check out one of our Summer 2012 Growth Groups.
Growth Groups are The Vine’s groups of 12-15 people who get together each week in convenient locations to grow spiritually, make new friends and have fun together. Growth Groups are a great way to meet new people while growing in your faith!
Growth Groups kick off the week of June 3rd and come to an end in August- the groups only last 10 weeks!
All of our Summer Growth Groups at The Vine will be studying different books and some are even more activity based. Ranging from all sorts of topics, this semester sure has the makings of being quite an experience for all!
There are 12 great groups to choose from that meet right here in Lancaster/Depew.

SUNDAY
Women’s Group @ 8:30am at The House
“Battlefield of the Mind”
Led by: Donna Debo
Come and discover what it looks like to win the Battlefield of the Mind. This group of women meet Sundays before service and have a great time of fellowship, food and conversation.

Family Fun Games Group at 12:30pm at Westwood Park
“Bod 4 God”
Led by Johnny Juarez
Summer is here and being outdoors is what you and your family need.
Join this group and have fun every Sunday playing favorite sports, games and random activities. The book being discussed will give you everything you need to start eating, living and looking healthy.

Young Adults Group at 8pm
“10 Dumb Things Smart Christians Believe”
Led by Dalton Ardillo/Bob Keitz
If you are between the ages of 18-29, then you ought to check out this young adults group. Besides hanging out, having great conversations and doing summer activities…you’ll also look at this great book about some of the most interesting Christian Urban Legends.

Men’s Golf Growth Group at 6:30pm at Bob O’ Links
“Joseph”

Got some clubs or a desire to try out your swing…this group is sure to be a lot of Fun! You will get a chance to also look at one of the most interesting men in the book of Genesis…Joseph. You can play 9 holes or 18.

“Now That’s a Good Question”

Get your bicycle out of the garage and going with this great group that will cycle all over Lancaster. The book discussed will surely give you some great in depth answers to many common questions about the Bible and Theology.

Dog Walking Group at 6:45pm at Westwood Park
“Lessons from a Sheep Dog”

Get your dog out for a great summer walk and meet other dog lovers at the church. This fun group will also dive into this great book about dogs and faith.

“Not a Fan”

This co-ed running group will look at the best selling book, “Not a Fan”. Filled with some thought provoking questions and humor, this book will truly challenge and draw you closer to God.

Relax and Reflect by the Fire at 7pm in Lancaster
“Spirit Rising”
Led by Barb and Mark Kaczmarek
Grab your marshmallows, blankets and hot cocoa as this group gets a closer look at the Holy Spirit. With stunning stories of how God is working in the lives of people and churches today and biblical teaching about the Holy Spririt, Jim Cymbala invites you to experience God in a fresh and vital way.

“Looking at Jesus”

Do you love fishing? Grab your gear and head out to the town of Marilla for some great family fishing fun. Spend time in the gospels looking at the life of Jesus and talking about His example and how it helps us to become “fishers of men”.

Now you have something to look forward to seeing…besides of course your husband out on the baseball diamond. This women’s group will get you talking about God’s purpose in your life and how you can move from base to base.

If you are a small business owner it is very easy to feel like an island. This group, made up of local business people, will certainly give you the support and empowerment to grow in your faith and learn how you can glorify God with your projects and ideas.
